The movie Tejas is set in 2016, which is the time when a historic decision was made.

The movie is about a female fighter pilot, played by Kangna, who underwent a trial training of four months to be pro in combating the techniques used in the forces. Tejas brings for the first time the different look of Kangna as a female pilot.

Kangana is shown getting ready; the narrator says in the background, “Zaroori nahi hai har bar baatcheet hone chahiye, Jung ke maidan mein ab jung hone chahiye. Hogaeya hai mere vatan pe ab bahut he sitam. Ab toh aakash se barish nahi aag barasni chahiye. Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi”.
